Our GROUT COATING SYSTEM™ has been installed for over 8 years in major famous name commercial buildings and lobby areas. Major account references available. This system is totally unique and is only available through us, or via our established Dealers.
1. The ceramic tile floor/wall is first thoroughly cleaned. Strip any sealers, or wax from tiles and from grout lines. Wait till surfaces are dry, then proceed to Step 2.
2. Apply our SUPER BOND & CLEAN™ to dry tile floor/wall exactly according to the direction. SUPER BOND & CLEAN™ will create excellent adhesion for SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish. This is required for all new or still glossy/glazed tiles, and suggested for use on used ceramic tiles. This product prevents SKID SAFE from lifting off the tiles when they are cleaned.
3. When the floor/wall is dry to the touch, apply the GROUT COATING as directed. Let the GROUT COATING dry for 24 hours.
A. Spread it over the entire floor/wall using a squeegee, which moves much of the GROUT COATING off the tiles and into the grout lines.
B. For wide grout lines apply directly into
each grout line, or spread it over the wall with a sponge.

4. Remove GROUT COATING from the tiles leaving all grout lines sealed with new GROUT COATING Color.
5. Apply SKID SAFE to the entire tile area, a single coat at a time after each coat has completely dried to the touch-not sticky nor tacky feeling. Highest gloss is achieved with 4 coats of SKID SAFE applied.
6. Allow for recommended drying and curing of SKID SAFE and enjoy your protected and beautiful ceramic tile floor/wall bathroom etc. for many years.
7. Clean the tile floor/wall with just plain water or with a neutral cleaner. Grout cleaning is no longer any problem!
ATTENTION:
Please test our GROUT COATING on a spare
tile, or test in a small inconspicuous area of the tiles for suitability before
proceeding with the application on your floor/wall tiles.
GROUT COATING SYSTEM™ is easy and simple to use because the GROUT COATING can be applied over the entire pre cleaned bathroom floor and/or walls. This is a major time saving factor, because the coating does not have to be laboriously applied in the every grout line, specially in situations with small tiles. After it is allowed to dry, it is then easily wiped off the tile surface with a damp cloth/mop. This leaves the coating in the grout which is then easily sealed with SKID SAFE. This system leaves no odors when used! It saves a fortune in labor costs for any maintenance firm or staff while producing a stunning new appearance for the client's bathrooms. Should grout be in good condition, then it should be sealed with SKID SAFE. This unique sealer/finish is not damaged by uric acid for very long periods of time. SKID SAFE which does not require stripping. Worn areas can be burnished, and or will accept a new application. Our GROUT COATING color does not change in appearance when it is protected by SKID SAFE. If part of your floor/wall grout has been blackened by water/mildew damage and you install our white color GROUT COATING on it, the new white color will not change on this area nor on any other area at the floor/wall. Please prepare the following tools before

- Several clean cloths
- Large bucket with clean water,
- Stiff bristled brush (or scrubbing machine)
- Squeegee (size 10), yellow rounded sponge, or a brush
- New white cotton mop, and/or good quality urethane type sponge mop with

B. NO SLIP GROUT COATING SYSTEM™:
SUPER
BOND & CLEAN™: Apply this product first. The approximate
spread rate is about 100 sq.ft. per quart.
GROUT COATING: The approximate spread rate is about
87 sq.ft. per 16 oz container.
SKID SAFE: You need to apply 6 separate coats. The
approximate coverage for all 6 applied coats is about 448 sq.ft. per
gallon.
ND AGGREGATE™: The approximate spread rate is
about 160 sq.ft. per pound of ND AGGREGATE™.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Our proprietary GROUT COATING™ is spread over the pre-cleaned/stripped and SUPER BOND & CLEAN™ treated tiles and grout lines. After drying for 24 hours, GROUT COATING is damp mopped off the tiles leaving all grout lines coated in your chosen color. Then the tiles are sealed with our SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish to create a glossy highly slip resistant finish has proven to last for many years and does not require stripping!
WHERE CAN I USE IT? Use our GROUT COATING on any ceramic tile, new or used, shiny or dull. Do not spread it over concrete, slate, nor brick. However, you can apply it directly into the grout lines of concrete, slate, and brick . Then, allow the Grout Coating to dry in the grout lines for 24 hours. Seal the grout lines and substrate with 4 separate coats of SKID SAFE according to our directions. Our Grout Coating can be applied over Quarry Tile and grout lines without having to use SUPER BOND & CLEAN™ .
All grout must be UNSEALED -never sealed-and CLEAN before applying GROUT COATING. If the grout lines have ever been sealed, use a stripper to thoroughly strip any sealer or wax in the grout. If the grout is unsealed, it should be thoroughly cleaned with a NEUTRAL CLEANER. It is not necessary to try to clean dirty grout lines to an even appearance before using our GROUT COATING! Even blackened grout lines can be coated with any of our colors of GROUT COATING without showing through or in any way affecting your selected Grout Coating Color.
HOW CAN IT BE USED? GROUT COATING is designed to be applied to both the grout and tiles simultaneously. This saves a fortune in labor compared to costly re-grouting or an application over the grout only. When dry, GROUT COATING is easily wiped off tiles yet remains in the grout. It is as easy as mopping a floor or a wall! After drying for 24 hours, it is easily damp mopped/wiped off the surface off the tiles, which leaves the GROUT COATING firmly in place in all grout lines. Now, the tiles are sealed with our proprietary SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish.
HOW CAN I PROTECT A FLOOR TREATED WITH GROUT COATING? Seal the floor with our SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish according to the directions. This unique product that has lasted for many years under heavy foot traffic protects our GROUT COATING from all discoloration! SKID SAFE does not require stripping. To maintain high gloss of SKID SAFE wash it with just clean water or rinse it with clean water after cleaning it with dilution of a neutral cleaner.

GROUT COATING
Our water based GROUT COATING is biodegradable and has no odor in use making it ideal for indoor installations. It solves one of the largest most common problems in the maintenance field: how to cost effectively protect and restore a uniform good looking appearance to grout, and solve mold, mildew problems while providing many years of trouble free grout appearance.
Grout is cleaned with a variety of products, but it is impossible to make all the grout look the same for long periods of time without this new technology. This especially applies to grout which has changed darker in appearance from water, urine, and years of being cleaned and stripped. The alternative is to replace the old grout with new grout - which is very expensive and time consuming.
GROUT COATING SYSTEM™ installations in commercial bathrooms look the same after 8 years. The selected color of the GROUT COATING looks the same as the day it was applied! It works like a grout colorant that is applied over old/ugly grout with the advantage that is not stained nor damaged when sealed with our grout sealer (SKID SAFE).

SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish
SKID SAFE has extremely low skid resistance (ASTM C 1028 .81 DRY, .77 WET) as tested by a State of California certified independent test laboratory. SKID SAFE is an aqueous emulsion of modified thermoplastic copolymer resins and their esters. It is virtually odorless in use and features very high spread rates with proven durability for many years of use. Its chemistry and combination of features/benefits is totally unique!
SKID SAFE has a very low USE COST which can save a property owner or maintenance firm a substantial amount of labor costs because SKID SAFE does not require stripping-a major maintenance cost factor. Its USE COST includes the protection for many years of sealed flooring materials (inside and outside), the unusually high spread rate, lower maintenance costs, and unique advantages unavailable in other sealers or finishes.
It is a good substitute for lacquers/epoxies/urethanes and polyurethanes because of its very high spread rate and excellent resistance to staining and damage. In addition, SKID SAFE can be used to seal any other in place coating or floor finish in good condition to provide much longer and improved protection with very high slip resistance.
SKID SAFE saves a fortune in labor costs because it does not require stripping, can be burnished, and worn areas accept a new application. It eliminates the need for special cleaning chemicals which can damage the materials they are built to clean especially with many repeated cleanings. Time and labor costs can now be saved because when any material/substrate is sealed with SKID SAFE, one is now cleaning our sealer and not what it is protecting. Since it does not attract soils, it can be cleaned with just water! Treatments on a wide variety of materials/substrates look excellent even after 5 years on floors!
SKID SAFE has an extremely low odor while being simple and easy to use! Sealed materials/substrates are protected from Sun, Water, and most Chemical damage for many years. SKID SAFE prevents water damage and rust and corrosion. In addition, it will increase the spread rate of floor finishes when applied under the floor finish as well as protect the substrate from spawling and crumbling. Aggregate can also be added onto the wet SKID SAFE which is not less than 1/4th exposed with SKID SAFE after the suggested number of applied coats to create a non skid surface.
When used in bathrooms it works also as a tough grout sealer: it will protect good looking grout from typical damages, and it cannot be stained nor damaged by uric acid nor water for very long periods of time. Because it can be easily cleaned with just water, it eliminates the need for special cleaning products to constantly clean grout and their high labor costs.
To create proper adhesion of SKID SAFE on new ceramic tile floor it is required to use our SUPER BOND & CLEAN™ first.
SKID SAFE has lasted for years under heavy foot traffic where common sealers are gone in months! Its high gloss of 90 on the Gardner Scale enhances the natural appearance of any material/substrate.
Use SKID SAFE to seal all flooring materials such as worn ceramic tiles, painted floors, concrete, marble, stones, terrazzo, granite, asphalt, tiles, and more. SKID SAFE is essential part of our GROUT COATING SYSTEM™ because it also protects the grout as a tough grout sealer and protects the grout colorant.
Its natural skid resistance is ASTM C 1028, COF= .81 DRY, COF= .77 WET as tested by a State of California certified independent test laboratory. The high spread rate makes it even more attractive and economical combined with the other outstanding benefits!
SKID SAFE should not be used to seal surfaces or materials which will be underwater such as swimming pools or bottoms of boats. It should not be used in "ponding" scenarios. The sealer has proven to withstand over 2000 lbs of water pressure when cleaned.
